One-man pagan black metal from Hessen, Germany since 1996. Led by a single performer named Widar who is also known for his side-projects such as Ulfhethnar, Ødelegger, Wolfspirit and playing guitars in JFN's Absurd. Session musicians whose names have not been recorded have helped out on Bilskirnir recordings. Bilskírnir is, according to both the Poetic, the Prose Edda and Skaldic poetry, the name of the old Norse god Thor's hall.
