There are two bands with the name "Billygoat": 1) A brazilian stoner rock band formed in 1997. Influenced by bands like Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Fu Manchu, BillyGoat went into Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Grand Funk and others 70’s heavy rock bands. Billygoat a blender of punch, psychedelia filled with grooves. In the beggining of 1998 the band split-up but returned in September of 2002 and keep on the road until today. In 2003 they started some shows and in 2004 made part of the first south american stoner rock compilation called "Loco Gringos Have a Party". In 2005 they released a EP called "Spaceman Blues" which are part of a 3 way split called "Playing at the Sun" (with the brothers Flaming Moe and SonicVolt).
