Billy the Kid is a moniker currently referring to four musical acts: 1) Billy the Kid is a Canadian musican, most notably affiliated with her punk rock band Billy and the Lost Boys. Flogging her craft for over a decade now, Billy's first published solo endeavour has come to fruition in the autumn of 2008 with the release of her first CD "The Lost Cause" published on the label she manages of the same name. The CD was produced, mixed and recorded by Raine Maida (most famous as the front man for Canadian band Our Lady Peace)and features piano by Garth Hudson. Using her own special brand of DIY promotion, production and management, her tour as a support act for Maida's first solo release came to critical acclaim and the soulful content of the Lost Cause continues to find its way into the hands of professionals turned proponents everywhere. In 2014 she released her fourth solo album, and the first supported by a record label, "Horseshoes & Hand Grenades" via Xtra Mile Recordings. The album was produced by Frank Turner, who also guests on the lead single "This Sure as Hell Ain't My Life". 2) Billy the Kid is a metalcore band from San José, Costa Rica . Formed in 2007 by members of Ablaze the Embers, A Sangre Fría, xTiempos de Gloriax and Código Penal. We are Straight Edge but respect every type of belief. We’re here to party!
