Following the breakup of Be Bop Deluxe guitarist Bill Nelson immediately switched to his next venture: Red Noise. Only one LP was issued, built on the futurist nature of latter Be Bop work but gave clear indications of an ever more experimental course. With Red Noise Bill not only pushed the boundaries of rock, he also started the move away from guitar as the central motif of his work, towards a broader, multi-instrumental and electronic approach.
