Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand - Bill Piyatut Hemstapat is a composer and music designer based in LA. Currently serving as an in-house composer at Riot Games, his works have also been featured in Video Games, TV and cinemas all over the world. During his 4.5 years at PlayStation Studios Creative Arts Music, Bill has contributed his musical expertise to various AAA titles including God of War: Ragnarök, Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Demon’s Souls, and Death Stranding. Bill scored the very first Thai NETFLIX original, a sci-fi thriller GHOST LAB as well as the critically acclaimed Muay Thai series, Hurts Like Hell. He helped his wife produce and mix a score for David Siev’s award-winning documentary BadAxe, which has been shortlisted for an OSCAR for best documentary in 2022. Since graduating from University of Southern California's renowned Screen Scoring master program, Bill has composed additional music for hit animated series like Voltron: Legendary Defender (Dreamworks), We Bare Bears (Cartoon Network), Wacky Races (Warner Bros.), and Pickle and Peanut (Disney XD). Bill is the co-creator and composer of "Tales of the Forgotten" , a passion project in which he collaborates with composer Dylan C. Jones and writer Josh Beckelhimer.
