Artist
Rapping since middle school, Big Redd is a gospel rap artist, hailing out Columbia, South Carolina. A member of the Wake Forest University Class of 2000, Big Redd was a freshman Pre-Med biology major when he received Jesus as his Lord. God told Big Redd that He was going to use him to communicate The Gospel to the world; accordingly, Redd prayerfully changed his major to Communication so that he could become knowledgeable and skilled at transmitting messages to diverse audiences. From 2005 to 2011, Big Redd was the lead host of “Single and Saved,” a call-in radio show on the Glory Communications (SC) FM Gospel Network dedicated to empowering singles to live victorious lives through biblical principles. In November 2011, Big Redd released his debut single “Different Now,” an upbeat anthem about the new life that becomes available once one enters into relationship with Jesus Christ. Big Redd released his debut EP “All Around The World” on May 15, 2012, and looks forward to making music that will change generations–one listener at a time.
