Big Nick and the Matras formed in 2006 after Nick Matra, Vocalist / Keyboardist for the band Journey Into Ryan, left the band to start his solo career. After going through many bands and mucisians who just couldn't handle Nicks incredible grasp on the art of Music enough to keep up with his vocal abilities, Nick located drummer Michael Henahan through a local modeling show. Michaels incredible drumming technique was an instant match with the amazing vocal chords of Nick and the two began writing songs instantly. Then bassist James Garofalo was found ravaging through the wild mountains behind Michaels house in a Mad Sin shirt, he sucks at bass but is really really hot so Nick let him in the band. Then gutarist Roscoe Sauce was let in the band becasue Nick was scared Roscoe was gonna make fun of him if he wasn't in the band. The bands first hit 'Rose of the Devils Garden' has spread very fast in Europe and the band someday hopes to make it big in the states. Look for upcoming Big Nick and the Matras songs to hit the streets in 2 weeks if Nick isn't grounded for eating Coco Pepples in the family room.
