There are multiple artists named Big Blind. 1.) The Industrial / Post-Rock project of LA native Yousef Bassirpour. Being of both Iranian and Irish descent, Yousef has always looked towards his heritage for inspiration in his music. Influenced by the likes of Björk, Nick Cave and Chelsea Wolfe, Big Blind bridges the gap between traditional Middle Eastern and contemporary Industrial music. 2.) An exciting young blues band from the beach resort Noordwijk in the Netherlands. Founded in fall of 2006, to produce a mean sounding, rawkin’ kind of blues influenced by acts like Howlin’ Wolf and more recent Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan, The Red Devils, The Hoax, to name just a few, but NOT without having their own identity though. With their punky attitude, they simply rock the blues, hitting the listener in both stomach and heart. Disbanded in 2010.
