The band formed in 1997 from the break-up of an existing line-up known as "Indastria". The core of the band, made of Luca "BETE" Betelli (Drums), Mac Henry (Guitar) and Francesco "Cecco" Saleri (Vocals & Keyboards), has continued to live with the new name of "BettyBoom". The three were joined by Michele (Guitar/Keyboards) and Gabriele (bass) and with the new line up started producing music in their native language. A couple of years went by and Cecco left to pursue a solo career, so the band was joined by Marco Spagnuolo (vocals). The renovation led the band to write new material in English and to publish a self produced EP: "Asleep Or Awake". Shortly after, pre-production for a full length album was on the way and in spring 2008 they entered recording studio. Mixing process was completed by fall 2008 and preparations for live performance were quickly on the go when Marco resigned due to personal problems. The band is currently seeking a new singer.
