Berlin-based artist Adam Byczkowski works under the moniker Better Person, crafting ’80s-style lite balladry that hearkens back to Sade and “Careless Whispers”-era Wham. He’s spent time in Montreal as well, playing in similar-minded Sean Nicholas Savage’s band, and touring with TOPS as a bass player. His latest records were released via Mansions and Millions in Europe and Arbutus Records in US and Canada. In 2019 he temporarily relocated to Los Angeles to work on new music with MGMT’s Ben Goldwasser as a producer. The album “Something to Lose” came out in September 2020. Currently, Byczkowski is recovering from severe Long-Covid and working on new music in his apartment in Berlin.
