Artist
Hip-hop designed to wrap your head in a plastic bag until your final breathe is taunting the contingency of your life span. Only then, when teetering upon the edge of personal existence, will you be released, to breathe with eyes wider, mind kinder, and appreciation for all that you have ever lost or regret. Southern California born and raised Jon May hailed from the grind/thrash/hardcore scene from the 1990's - around 2002 and was in multiple bands including: Almost Dead // Crime Scene Escapists // The Murder Book // Put Him In A Bodybag // Sad, Sadder, Suicide and Syringedotsyringe. After a break in the creation of music, solitary and a computer turned into a life long love with hip-hop and electronic music. He then started rapping in late 2006 when he started freestyling to some of his favorite artists instrumentals tracks. After a couple weeks, the first song was born and besatree shortly followed. Since then two instrumental albums have surfaced and a full length album is in the works now. Besatree is known for being a d.i.y., low-fi hip-hop artist who always offers songs and albums for free and has labeled himself "Slop Hop Extraordinaire". Also has/and continues to team up with Anthony Lane, and is also known to sample The Contingent Omega quite often. more at: www.besatree.com or myspace.com/besatree User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
