Bertrand Moren was born June 26, 1976 in Vetroz, Switzerland. He received his first piano lessons at the age of six years before entering the classroom of the famous pianist Edith Fischer. In June 1998, he graduated from piano teaching of the Swiss Society for Music Pedagogy. While studying piano, he studied music education, of harmony, analysis, counterpoint and music history at the Conservatoire de Sion. In June 1999, he obtained a Certificate of Graduate Studies at the Geneva Conservatory Trombone. Bertrand Moren has already won numerous awards as a trombone soloist, and is especially winning the Swiss Championship of Soloists of instruments Brass, solo contest and the Swiss Entertainment Contest Contest Swiss Youth Music. Bertrand Moren's performed with various instrumental (Quartet, Quintet, Brass Ensemble, Brass Band, Orchestra of Harmony, Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra), but he prefers the Brass Band, in general, and the Brass 13 Stars Band in which he is trombone, especially.
