Artist
Terzi was born in Bergamo, Italy on 28 September 1892. The youngest of six children, he from an early age showed interest in music by choosing to study the guitar after his brother Arthur, also a guitarist. His career flourished in the period between the two world wars, when he gave concerts in all major cities of Italy. In 1934 he co-founded a magazine, "La Chitarra." In 1963 the publishing house Ricordi issued Terzi's book, "The self-taught guitarist, comprehensive approach to classical guitar." The publication had numerous reprints. Terzi died in Bergamo, at the age of 88 years, on 28 October 1980. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
