Benjamin Norman Pierce was born in Denver, Colorado at 4 Degrees of Virgo, Scorpio Rising, in 1962, and moved to Wausau, Wisconsin on his second birthday. At Saint Cloud-UMn, he majored in Philosophy, History, and Creative Writing. In 1989, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin, to study Hermetic magick and live in the Co-op houses. From 1994-1996 he lived in Sophia, Bulgaria where he began to paint. He self-published his novel "Snuck Past Death And Sleep" in 2004. Al-Azif is his first musical endeavour.
