Bendita Prudencia is an independent Chilean experimental band with a particular style: his pieces were composed as a mix of music and theatrical performance. Was formed in Santiago, Chile in May 2004 by Carolina Holzapfel in voice and keyboard, Jair Moreno in clarinet and voice, Marcela Moreno in voice and viola, and Alexander Muñoz from Banda Conmoción in voice and drumms. All of them have music studies and are associated with the theater. That year get the third place in the Emerging Bands contest organized by the Sociedad Chilena de Intérpretes, and in May 2005 won the Music Fund of the National Council for Culture, money used to record their first album: Bendita Prudencia (free download at ReverbNation), launch their website (down) and perform concerts. At this time the band used MySpace and Facebook to communicate, and they have a YouTube channel with live performances videos.
