benhall is a lo-fi indie musician based in Melbourne, Australia, known for his sad songs that cover dark topics. He is perhaps well known for his 2024 EP 'sorry but i'm still me'. His most popular song on this site is 'letters', with over 2,000 listeners all time He started making music in 2023, releasing an EP called 'is this the part where you infest my brain?', featuring two original songs as well as a Wingnut Dishwashers Union cover. This EP was later re-released on Bandcamp in 2024. At the start of 2024, he released an EP - 'i hope they hear this when i'm gone' in April, following with 'leech boy' 17 days later. Soon after, in early June, he released the first single for his third EP - 'toronto 2003'. He released the second single, 'bleed / quit acting like you know me', in early July, before releasing the EP - 'sorry but i'm still me' later that month. Exclusively on Bandcamp, he released 'back off for once', a scrapped track from the EP, as well as a demo version of toronto 2003 and a slowed + reverb version of the EP. After the release of the EP, Ben released quite a few singles - including an Alex G cover (Change) and 'brad', which has been archived on YouTube. In early 2025, Ben released his debut album - 'i have nothing else to say', as well as releasing an accompanying demo EP. A week after the album, he released the single 'labrador', and in April released the single 'this ends with me'. In August of 2025, Ben released his fourth EP, 'goddamn they're pretty!
