My brother-in-law, probably one of the most excellent, brilliant people I've ever met. Georgia Tech grad, civil engineering, like his dad; didn't like engineering, so much (I guess), and went to law school in Alabama. After entertaining us in Lakeland, Florida, for a while in the early '90s, he took a turn for the different and moved to Saipan to work on the staff of the local magistrate for the U.S. Dept. of Justice. My sister, Cate, went to visit once, and never came back, at least to Lakeland. Now, they live in Asheville, North Carolina, have a great life with their kids, and celebrate/participate, in the local music scene. His best songs are his most personal, like "Holding You in My Arms" that celebrates his first daughter.
