Ben Born is a French-Norwegian group influenced by artists such as Josh Rouse, Elliot Smith and Badly Drawn Boy, emerged in 2005. The group consists of Benjamin Touchet, Mari Vold Lexander and Jérôme Haiat, and they have just completed their first album titled Another Day. Ben and Mari met in a bar in Montmarte, Paris, France and found out that they shared the same universe of music and the same passion. Ben started composing folk melodies on acoustic guitar and the piano. Mari joined him with her own compositions and with lyrics, and together they composed new music. The outcome was astonishing, the two voices blend perfectly and they had managed to create a musical universe of their own. Everything fell into place for Ben Born when Jérôme joined them on the guitar.
