NYC-based recording artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Alessi explores the boundaries of pop and electronica with a unique layered vocal style and textured melodies. Recently turned 21, Ben already has a short but hockey-stick curve in his growth. Since the release of his first single, “Primes,” in 2012, Ben gained fast local traction in his hometown of Buffalo, was discovered by a New York City-based publisher and development house, and made the move to Manhattan where he has created multiple works for other performers and has himself performed on major featurings. Ben’s inspirations reflect in his music – ranging from Tarantino and Jean Paul Gaultier to Amy Winehouse and Cashmere Cat.
