Hailing from New York City, Bellevue's Finest is a power-pop sextet with electro and post-punk influences. Drawing from the concise songwriting of 70’s era David Bowie and modern indie poppers like Hot Chip and Passion Pit, BF creates unique, gritty synth-pop grooves. Since forming in 2008, Bellevue’s Finest has become a staple of the LES and Williamsburg scene, including a residency at Arlene’s Grocery, performances at Club NME showcases, and numerous gigs at acclaimed venues such as Webster Hall, The Annex, and Public Assembly. BF released their debut 10010 EP in early 2009. With "infectious tunes that are still going to be bothering your mind an hour from now" (A New Band A Day), Bellevue's Finest is "amazingly danceable and we predict great things for this talented bunch. You’ll love them – we promise.” (Breakthru Radio) BF is currently in the production stages of recording Summer of Singles, a collection of singles to be released on the 1st of every month during the summer of 2010.
