Beliefs is a shoegaze band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They formed in November 2010 when singer-guitarists and songwriting pair Josh Korody and Jesse Crowe met at bassist Pat McCormack’s birthday party and bonded over their love of The Jesus and Mary Chain, Slowdive, and My Bloody Valentine. Their self-titled debut album came out in March 2013 through Hand Drawn Dracula (CA), No Pain In Pop (EU), and Manimal (US).
