Becka Pimenta (born in Emsworth, United Kingdom) is an English singer. She grew up in a small fishing village on the south coast of England. The youngest of four and the only girl, growing up music became her closest friend. When she was 16, Becka worked with several producers in London with little results. Frustrated with producers trying to turn her into someone she’s not she went back to the basics. In front of her piano and behind her guitar Becka wrote the song that may very well change her life. Its name was “Concrete Blocks”. Finding a manger in the U.S., Becka packed up and headed west to California. Alongside her manager, Fernando Gibson, they set to the task of finding her place in mainstream music.
