Formed in 1999 when two flatmates decided to get off their arse and put together London's first Street Edge Metalcore band. Consisting of members from 50 CALIBER, KARTEL and KNUCKELDUST, this beast is powered by London's gritty reality. "Beat Down Fury" by name, "Beat Down Fury" by nature. Mixing influences ranging from Metal to Old School Hardcore, BDF always create a unique atmosphere, lead by their double barrelled vocal team consisting of Pete - also half of the KARTEL frontline - and Pierre - also KNUCKELDUST's frontman. Both vocalists use the difference in each other's vocal style to the fullest effect. The contrast is great but the effect is even greater. Andy's highly technical guitar orgasms have earned him the title of London's guitar master and together with Steve's pounding bass riffs, they make the BDF experience go beyond the boundaries of Hardcore. The quality of their partnership also transcends in long-standing LBU thugs 50 CALIBER. With the distinctive flavour of Ali's drumming, BDF were ready to take Hardcore to another level. Their first two self-produced demos gained them a loyal following of dance floor junkies and their debut MCD "First family" released on UK´s RUCKTION Records really showed what BDF were capable of when in a studio, joined on this release by DBS the other half of KARTEL and Kate who definitely adds another dimension with her melodic voice.
