The band name was The Bear Fax. The Bear Fax band was started in Shawnee Oklahoma in 1966. The original band members were Dennis Meeks, Paul Quatrone, Louie Quatrone, Larry Malazo, Lloyd Tucker,and Bob Reagon.They had one record out called Out of our Tree. The band dissolved of all the members except Lloyd Tucker that started the band Bare Fax in 1971. The band had one record out called Woman in 1971. The band was the number one band in Oklahoma City for over a year. Bare Fax band was one of the top show bands in the South East US in 1975-1976 and worked for the agency Southern Orchestra. The band played with groups like Tony Joe White, The Platters, The Drifters, The Turtles, Tommy James and The Shondells, Peaches and Herb, Ronny Dove, and the list goes on. The members are now spread out in North Carolina, Florida , Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Maryland. The Bare Fax band consisted of Jim Wallace, Gary Patton, John Kersey, Paul Alford, Bobby Kennedy ,John Pool, James Fitzgerald and Lloyd Tucker from 1971 to1974. The show band Bare fax was together from 1974 to 1980. The members of the band during that time were Gary Bryant on drums, Don Chapman on guitar, Steve Callicoat on bass guitar, David and Phyllis Marlette on lead vocals, and Lloyd Tucker on Keyboards and vocals.The band dissolved in 1980 after being together for 7 years..
