We are 'Be Like Pablo' from the North-East of Scotland. We used to be called Dan Against the World but, after a major lineup change, we decided to change our name (which nobody really liked anyway). Currently, we are recording our debut album with Brian McNeill in Ca Va Sound Studios in Glasgow. You can listen to some of these new recordings on our profile page. We make classic-but-innovative catchy guitar-based pop music with bright girl/boy vocal harmonies. Think the Beach Boys with Scottish accents, noisy guitars and Cars-style synths. Be Like Pablo are (in alphabetical order): Jen Blackburn - vocals, synth, violin, glockenspiel & hand claps Jamie Murphy - bass & vocals Ewen Watson - songs, vocals, guitar & synth Ross Watson - guitar & vocals Our album also features Alyn Cosker (Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanagan, Belle & Sabastien) on drums, Patsy Craig (Site of Future Rome) on cello and our producer, Brian McNeill on piano.
