There are five bands with this name: 1. Bazooka Joe was a synthpop band from the UK. In the time from 1988 to 1990 they recorded one album "Virtual World" and several singles/EPs on Play It Again Sam Records. The band members were Paul Dillon (ex founding member of The Cassandra Complex) Paul Fryer The Professor 2. Bazooka Joe is a German Punk Band from Olpe. They have produced two demos, "Mr. Joe and the Bazooka Boogies," and an untitled demo from 2006. 3. Bazooka Joe was punk/hardcore band from Myrtle Beach, S.C. They performed locally in the late 80's mostly in small venues. Their albums included Pastor of Muppets and Send in the Clowns. They also appeared on several compilation albums including What are you pointing at?. Their most popular song was We are everywhere. 4. Bazooka Joe (or Bazooka Joe and the Lillets) was a British pub rock band formed by John Ellis and Danny Kleinman in 1970. It featured Stuart Goddard, who would later change his name to Adam Ant. Both Ellis and Goddard would go on to find success with The Vibrators and Adam and the Ants, respectively. Besides the later fame of its members, Bazooka Joe is primarily known as the band that headlined when the Sex Pistols played their first concert on November 6, 1975 at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
