There are multiple artists with the name Batmen: 1) Batmen are a dark, heavy post-punk band from Portland, Oregon. http://batmenpdx.bandcamp.com for more info. 2) Batmen was an instrumental rock band from Pasadena, Texas. They formed in March of 2005 after Steven Christopher and Brett Taylor left their former instrumental band, Alsace Lorraine, in search of something more close-knit and melodious. Their friend Michael Brandin joined on bass, and soon drummer Ryan Constable joined as well, despite differences in musical direction that showed while jamming in the past. Batmen completed 4 songs before bassist Michael Brandin called it quits. They quickly recruited Christopher Popovich, who joined early in June and set the band off on a fury of songwriting. They went into the studio early in November and recorded their 10-track album, 1, as well as the song James Frederick, which was scheduled to release on Batmen's sophomore release, but was never recorded. Unfortunately, Batmen only played a number of shows before they dissolved early in December of 2005. and we're back what.
