At the end of 2007 the 4 of them met for the first time at Wizzow's Studio, At that time each of the member were doing their own solo projects. When they were on a break from recording process they talk about the concept about a group which will uniquely mixes indonesian ethnic music with hip hop music. 1 week later they started working on this project, Every Wednesday they catch up at the studio working and 2 months later half of the album is completed and gave the name BATIK TRIBE. BATIK TRIBE begins their journey by releasing an album titled "MELANGKAH" In the middle of 2008 the 4 member of batik tribe have loved and lived Hip Hop for over 10 years. The 4 members are Della Mc who is also a performer in another group called "Saykoji", Cool B A professional dancer & choreographer for some of talented indonesian artists, Wizzow is a producer who has worked with many indonesian hip hop acts and Dj S'tea who had been in Australia for the past 12 years played in a well known band in melbourne called "Stillthinking". In 2009 they are keen to make one of the most anticipated albums to hit the Indonesian and Asian market. Awal terbentuknya Batik Tribe karena Della MC dan Cool B yang sebelumnya memiliki group bernama microba ingin membuat album, ketika itu Della MC menghubungi Wizzow untuk membuat musik mereka, akan tetapi Wizzow juga berencana membuat album solo, hanya dalam pembicaraan mereka terpikir untuk membuat group dan Wizzow mengajak DJ S’Tea yang dikenalnya disebuah club.
