Bassmonkeys are Norwich-based trio Dale Askew, Danny Bond & Mike Chenery who, over the past 3 years, have established themselves as a top level production outfit and highly respected DJ team. 2007 saw the Bassmonkeys hit the Music Week No.1 spot with their anthemic remix of Soulshaker & Ce Ce Peniston "Shame Shame Shame" whilst their single "The Answer” reached number No.3, gaining huge support from the likes of the Freemasons, Trophy Twins & Mark Doyle to name but a few. 2008 looks set to be a huge year for the lads - having no less than 5 of their productions on the recently released Fierce Disco II compilation from Fierce Angels, 3 singles due for release in the summer and chart-bound collaborations with hot divas Andrea Britton, Tara McDonald, Amanda Wilson & Abigail Bailey all in the pipeline - it’s been a perfect start. With the industry starting to sit up and take notice, Bassmonkeys are now in constant demand as a remix team and have been commissioned to produce over 30 remixes for international artists to date.
