Who is Bass Necktie? Many have asked this question. Few have had it answered. Recent documents recovered from the raid of the International Guild of Electrowizardry's headquarters (location classified) reveals that Bass Necktie was the spawn of 1,000 bass fish in an obscure stream in Mississippi sometime around 1908 (it is now a shopping mall). He joined the Electrowizards in 1921 and became a fully initiated Electrowizard in 1922. As was the case with many Electrowizards at the time, Bass Necktie was a soldier in World War II, where his primary duty was to cook. He was dishonorably discharged in 1943 when he refused to cook a bass fish. Legend has it that the army helmet he is always seen wearing is a reminder of his service to both man and bass. He returned to serve the Guild full-time and participated in the War of the Wizards which was fought between the Electrowizards and the Psychowizards in 1963. Bass Necktie became a Guild Master in 1970 for his service in the war and it was around this time that the Electrowizards' long-secret craft, Haus music, was being revealed to the greater population. It caught on immediately, as the Electrowizards had prepared for centuries to unleash it at just the right moment. Unfortunately, the guild came under hard times when Ooooooj II took the chair of Grand Master of the Electrowizards.
