Robert Varga, working under the name Bashway, is a young electronic artist from Prague, Czech Republic. He has been producing music for over 6 years (previously under the name Robin). In his beginnings he was focused on techno, house, techhouse, electro, minimal etc., but after 2003 he's been mostly composing jungle and drum and bass. Bashway is currently 21 years old (born at Oct 20th 1986) and has already made hundreds of tracks, 6 non-comercial CDs and has won 3 composer contests in Czech Republic and Slovakia. His rig includes KRK RP8 monitors, MOTU Ultralite sound interface, Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones and some budget Casio MIDI keyboard. Among other software interfaces, Bashway often uses Propellerhead's Reason 4 to compose and produce his music. His influences include names like The Chemical Brothers, Falcon, The Prodigy, DJ Trava, Escon Waldes, Simon Begg, Void Settler (Labyrinth) and others. In 2008, Kaktus Recordings (Czech Republic) released Bashway's "Fear When Fury" album. You can download it for free, as it is a digital release under CCL (creative commons licence).
