Bashar Al Shatty: (Arabic):(بشار الشطي), also known as Basharno, Beesho and Maystro, was born September 22, 1982 in Kuwait. Bashar has three brothers and one sister. He was born into a family that has supported him to continue studying music and becoming a singer as well as a composer and songwriter. Bashar plays the piano and the guitar. Bashar's fame started along with the reality television show called Star Academy on LBC. During his stay at Star Academy in Lebanon he produced and recorded his first song which got a lot of attention. Bashar was a finalist on that show but did not win which made a lot people question the integrity of the show. A year after Star Academy 1, Bashar released his first album and a video clip that went hand in hand with the Album. During winter 2006, he released his second album. Both albums were a success both in Kuwait and in the Arab world making him one of the most successful Arab singers.
