Forgotten Venezuelan old school Death Metal band from Caracas. Baphometh was one of the earliest extreme metal bands from Venezuela, releasing a total of four demos from 1988 to 1993. The band suffered several line-up changes, with only Franklin Zambrano remaining as the original member. A compilation featuring all four demos was released in 2003 by Peruvian label NecreoNauseA Records. It features the following line-up on the back cover: Franklin Zambrano - Vocals, Guitar Hugo Fuguet - Guitar Reinaldo Aponte - Bass Javier Vásquez - Drums Zambrano is still active and currrently plays on a hard rock band, Arrecho.
