Bambi Baker is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. Her music has a darker sound, focusing on storytelling, and is broadly associated with the morute aesthetic and community. All of her music was produced on GarageBand for iPad by herself, although she has stated that she wishes to get more professional training and equipment in the future. She released her first and only album, "Diary of Dolls & Death," on Halloween in 2022. In 2023, Bambi announced that she had to take a break from singing due to throat issues, possibly caused by silent reflux, but hoped to return to music after she heals and takes vocal lessons and guitar lessons. In that time, she continued making music videos for her old songs, making visual art, and posting vintage fashion and jfashion-related content to Instagram and TikTok. Periodically, she would have a day where her voice was doing better, and would post herself singing covers in an old church. In 2024, however, due to mental health issues and identity issues, she deactivated all of her accounts, and went on an extended hiatus, stating that she did not know when she would come back online or if she would at all, and that the internet was worsening her issues.
