Balancing Act is a British indie rock band. Kai Roberts (vocals) and Jackson Couzens (guitar) first met in Manchester whilst working on separate projects. After packing up and moving to London, they joined forces with George Le Page (drums) and David Carpenter (bass). Since 2024, their drummer has been Patrick Hanbury. After gaining traction following their debut EP "Malice in Tone" in 2023, Balancing Act have become a key name in “ones to watch” discussions, being included in Dork’s Hype List, DIY’s NEU Bulletin, and branded a contender for “the new generation’s favourite band” by Jack Saunders. Self-described as “Dark, Sexy, and Sick”, Balancing Act can be more officially affiliated with the world of alternative rock.
