Baka Gaijin ('Stupid Foreigner' in Japanese) is an early noise project by Hisaki (of Yanwari Hisaki and Queen of Buckets fame). Some of the convoluted electronic melodies that distinguished these more recent two projects can be discerned here, but mainly this material has a rough & edgy spacey lo-fi noise sound achieved using heavy bass amplification/pedal trickery. Pieces shift rapidly through harsh soundscapes, surface scratches, coastal, grainy, wildlife yelping backdrops, invocations of the brine, and beats that procure to the mind 80s video games.
