Bade is the artist-name of Bart van Liemt, leadsinger of the Dutch band The Sheer and performer in the Dutch band Baskerville. In 2003, Bart released his first CD with The Sheer, called The Keyword Is Excitement. After making the next CD, Feel The Need Bart had to stop performing for a while because of a kidney-disease. In 2009, The Sheer released their last album Here And Now And Long Before on which Bart tells a lot about his personal life. The album is totally different from the two others. The style went from pop-rock to alt-americana. In 2010 Bart joined a new Dutch band called Baskerville to do some live-shows. The second show was on the big festival Lowlands, and the third was on Sziget. After some live-shows, the band recorded a new album called Disco Biscuits on which Bart sings two songs. After a year of touring with Baskerville, Bart thinks it's time for a new challenge, a solo-career under the name Bade.
