Bad at Best formed from the ashes of cover band Six Foot Something in Owensville, Missouri, in the Spring of 2014. Landon McKinney (vocals, rhythm guitar), Andy Gerth (vocals, lead guitar), and Caleb Mundwiller (drums) wrote and recorded music in the basement of Mundwiller's house and played local benefit shows and coffee shops, as well as Owensville's annual MOB Music Festival.
