Back in Spades was a rock band formed in Detroit in 2003 by singer/guitarist Stephen Palmer, drummer Joe Leone from the Fletcher Pratt, bassist Anthony Rochon, and guitarist Jackson Smith, the son of Patti Smith and Fred "Sonic" Smith of the MC5 and Sonic's Rendezvous band.
