Babylon Leaf are a rock/indie band hailing from North Wales, UK. They have been playing together for over ten years and have gigged around the country with both covers and original material. With a healthy selection of originals in the bag, the band are looking to gig and promote their new tunes throughout 2011. The band is Paul Byrne (guitars), Barry Davies (drums, vocals), Graeme Hann (vocals, guitar), Tom Jones (percussion, keyboards) and Rich Owens (bass, vocals). Check babylonleaf.com for recent news and gigs. History Babylon Leaf were originally formed in Flintshire, UK in 2001 by Graeme Hann, Neil Harrison, Dave Byrne, Paul Byrne, Rich Owens and Tom Jones. The band gigged in pubs and clubs around North Wales and North West England and gained a decent-sized following. They also recorded and produced their first demo EP in 2003 entitled Slow Down - all completely self-financed. The band recruited Barry Davies on drums following the amicable departure of Dave and worked to record and release the Tri EP. 2011 saw the band recover from Neil's departure to form Audiobloom at the end of 2010 to become a five-piece. Babylon Leaf are currently playing, writing & rehearsing and are available for booking. Four new tracks are available on the new EP Reborn.
