bedtime stories (Formerly known as "bedtime stories the band) are an Emo/Post-Hardcore band from Waco, Texas. Their music has also taken influence from genres such as Screamo, Power Pop, and Hardcore Punk. The band features Ethan Corbett on guitar and vocals, Isaac Joiner on bass, and Carter Patzke on drums. Formed in 2022, they released their debut single "bedframe" on May 28th, 2022, which would later be wiped from the internet at an unknown date. The next year, they recorded and released their debut ep, "songs i will grow to hate", which featured a rerecording of bedframe with a decent amount of change, titled "bedframe 2.0". And in 2024, they recorded and released their debut and final (?) album, "YOU WILL NOT JUDGE WHO I WILL BECOME", which notably featured a much more screamo influenced sound. The band plans on playing their final show before going on hiatus on the 27th of July this year, with the setlist featuring many bands that they were close with over their 2 year run. While on hiatus, Isaac left the band to join the army while Ethan and Carter relocated to another location to continue the band. Ethan is the only one in the band known to have other projects but bedtime stories, notably their two solo projects Subscription Fees and nowhere, annie, as well as playing bass in Riddance.
