Artist
Banda Madrugada is a Finnish forró group found in 2006. The dance orchestra plays forró music from North-East of Brazil mixed with wide range of influences from gipsy humppa to reggae. Playing the traditional pair dance music with a cheerful and fresh touch Banda Madrugada has always put hips swinging and made floors bounce from barn dance parties to Brazilian music clubs. Banda Madrugada plays their own music in Finnish and Portuguese but also best grooves of Brazilian artists like Falamansa, Luiz Gonzaga and Gilberto Gil. You can really see the love and passion the band has for the music in the sweaty gigs. Banda Madrugada means the band of the dawn. That's when the forró parties usually start up. Be aware, forró is coming! http://www.myspace.com/bandamadrugada User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
