Artist
BJ Smith is a multi-instrumentalist, song writer & producer probably most well known for his work as Smith & Mudd. After establishing the now legendary Goldswong Terrace, Nottingham, as a home for some key collaborations in the late 90s, BJ Smith returned to London and set up the 3 piece band Movedrill with long time friend and drummer Matt Klose (Crazy P) and Richard James (the Matthew Jay band) on bass. After many years trawling the live circuit and recording in countless studios (metropolis, matrix, square centre….) he got his own studio and bedded down to begin churning out a long list of works ranging from short film composition to commercial releases for boutique labels, with a little foray into stop motion animation thrown in for good measure.
