Artist
B.B. & The Stingers was formed seven years ago by Guitarist, Bernie Brausewetter (aka B.B.). B.B., who first started playing in bars and clubs in the Metropolitan Area at age 16, has become a "legendary fixture" on the New Jersey music scene. He began by cutting his teeth performing at local dances and fraternity parties at nearby Rutgers University at age thirteen (13). His success began at age 18 when he took to the road with Silverhoof on a tour that lead them throughout the Midwest and the South with ex Ohio Express and Sugarloaf members who produced hits together in the 1960's. B.B. worked for Producer, Tony Camillo (Gladys Knight; Midnight Train to Georgia Fame) at his Venture Studio Complex, while playing extensively throughout the New York - New Jersey club scene with Doug Rykin & Midnight and Rivendell. In the 1980's B.B. founded Attaboy, which played the original music club scene explosion in New Jersey and won the WDHA song contest in 1984. Currently, B.B. has been working with Glen Burtnick (A & M artist, Styx reunion member and writer of Patty Smythe's hit Sometimes Love Just Aint Enough) on a project called The Slaves of New Brunswick which released a record on Performance and is played in rotation on WNEW, KROCK, WDHA and WPST promoting it locally in New York and New Jersey. You may have seen B.B. filling in for The Nerds (New York and New Jersey's phenomenon last summer) or playing with Paul Reed Smith at the Hard Rock Cafe, or maybe you saw his expertise
