Bäitoník Configuration is a French jazz fusion/Zeuhl band formed in 2007. The Chilean neuroscientist and musician FJ-Parada started writing 'Lied Notturna', a two-movement piece that nowadays spans over 90 minutes. In 2010 Bäitoník Configuration emerged from the non-linear interaction of developmental psychologists Viridiana Benitez and Lisa Cantrell, and the musicians Steve Harms and Ricky Peden. The second movement of 'Lied Notturna' was their opening act.
