Message from the artist's team: "2022 is already shaping up to be a massive year for Ayesha Madon. Dividing her time between Sydney , Melbourne and the US where she’s been writing and recording, she’s set to perform at BIGSOUND this September. A multi-disciplinary creative, Ayesha will star as lead character Amerie in the highly anticipated reboot of Heartbreak High - the first original scripted series produced by Netflix AU/NZ - which will be available globally on platform from September 14. In 2019 and 2021, Ayesha starred as Lily in the thrilling stage show Fangirls which received rave reviews from the likes of The Guardian and Sydney Morning Herald. Outside of music and film, Ayesha recently featured in the BONDS campaign advocating for women’s health, alongside a powerful sisterhood including Tkay Maidza, Dechen, Mahalia Handley and Daila."
