Avs_Silvester is one-man-band of Andrey Skorobogatov works in experimental metal, post-rock, avant-gard fusion, ambient and other genres. Andrey (Andrew) Valerievich Skorobogatov, b.1987 in Sverdlovsk, USSR (now Ekaterinburg, Russian Federation). Andrew is It-spetialist, writer, author of cyberpunk, surreal and dystopic short stories and novellines, member of russian sci-fi fandom moviement. "Avs_Silvester" began as LJ nickname: "AVS" is initials and "Silvester" as derived from "sylvan" or "silver". Music theory had learned in a secondary school, in a class with a musical bias, and first lo-fi ambient/psychedelic tracks were recorded in 2001-2002 years. First full-length album "Black Thursday" was recorded in 2011. Some small improvised EP-s made in style that named "yozh-metal" (hedgehog metal) - it's polyphonic/cacaphonic lo-fi rock/fusion expromts with harmonica, tambourine and mandolina. At the moment in 2014 Andrew had recorded over twenty albums and EP. Almost all works of Avs_Silvester available online on free resources and net-labels, the total number of downloads of some of them more than 10000. Andrew calls groups and musicians inspires creativity is Pink Floyd, Magma, Dream Theater, Cynic, Sergey Kuryokhin and Gorizont.
