Artist
William David Joseph Hoy , also known as Auxfire, is an American digital musician from Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Typically changing in style and genre between songs, he believes in "changing things up". EARLY LIFE Auxfire was born in Irvine, California. He is the son of Linda Hoy (Maiden name Conklin) and Charles Hoy, second to sister Joanna Hoy and brother Bradley Hoy. He and his family are of German, Italian, Dutch, Scottish and Irish decent. He is also a relative of William "Dummy" Hoy (famous for being the first deaf Major League Baseball catcher, resulting in the catcher/pitcher hand signals). He attended Sentinel Career and Technology Center in Tiffin, Ohio, where he studied computer technologies. It was there that he discovered the music production software he uses today, FL Studio. Most of his music has been composed on his own, with the exception of "Intermition" which was a collaboration with long time friend Jarrod Pfeiffer (AKA Seth Foxen). Music Auxfire began making music in mid-2012 after becoming a big fan of house artist Deadmau5. His early albums began as experimental ones until he got better with the software. He then began experimenting with different styles inspired by Blue Stahli and Celldweller.
