The Silent Stepchild formed AutNoyz, a hip-hop family based out of Steubenville, OH, in 1994. The crew is comprised of 9 of the most elite hip-hop artists: The Silent Stepchild, Chalaunt Styles, S.E.N.E.C.A., Gods Wil, Skeet, Ya-Ya, I.C.U., Infamous and Heithcliff. AutNoyz is one of the most diverse groups the underground scene has to offer. They range from Ya-Ya, a hip-hop/soul singer, to The Silent Stepchild, a producer/emcee/dj, to the remainder of the family who each have their own unique style. AutNoyz has received several write-ups and reviews in several local publications. Many of those publications indicate that the crew will not be local very long. They have gotten international recognition through distributing their music over the Internet with over a combined 90,000 downloads, plays and CD sales. They have had two #1 songs on the site and 6 top 10 songs. Plus the family has gotten great response from well-respected industry personnel. Including: LAZE LAZE, executive producer for M.O.P. and Wu-Tang Producer 4th Disciple. Members of AutNoyz have opened for a host of major acts including: The Roots, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Slum Village, and Junior Mafia just to name a few.
