With a voice straight out of the gutter Austin Hennelly is America, preaching the word of exiled saints and bar room hussies, Austin’s message is clear; either he’s got the blues or the blues has got him. With his tender Nashville melodies and songs that should be considered literature and taught by college professors, Austin hits the North East with his brand of expertise storytelling that has not been seen since Towns Van Zandt. Recently signed to Oh! Becky Records, Austin has been living the American Dream in the passenger seat of an old blue Buick, hitting town after town, looking somberly out the window as the smoke of the last city he burnt the night before lifts quietly in the rear view mirror. Austin never says a word about his victory; he just turns the stereo up and smiles. Austin is back in his native jersey recording his debut record entitled “Low Life in Low Fi” which should be out in late May 07.
